Airports Company SA salutes excellent service at The Royal Marang Hotel.

On behalf of Airporst Company South Afirca SOC Limited's Executive Committee, I would say thank you very much for the EXCELLENT service provided to us during out stay at the Royal Marang Hotel from the 29th July 2014 to the 31st July 2014

We have recently been to another hotel (5-6a August 2014) and ALL the executives were saying this hotel does not compare to you. Royal Marang Hotel is now "thee" hotel to compare other service providers against.

From Lwanda:  Kevin and Abel, you guys met all my demands and I wanna thank you for making my life sooo much easier. To ALL the staff at the Royal Marang Hotel, you were AWESOME.

Our paths will cross in the near future. Keep up the excellent service.

Thank you once again

First impressions from Lebone II College Learners

First impressions from Lebone II College Learners

First impressions – from Grade R learners at Lebone II College – sent in by Brigette Hamilton (Grade R Teacher). Thank you so much for providing the opportunity for us to visit the Royal Marang last Thursday

Your various staff members were very kind and accommodating, especially Abel who showed us around. The children now have a better understanding on what goes on behind the scenes!

  • Things the children had to say:
  • Orefile: Thank you for letting us to come. I didn’t know that there was a rugby field.
  • Azania: Thank you for letting us go inside the kitchen. I learnt about different people’s jobs, like the chef’s job. I liked looking around the nice hotel.
  • Bonang: I enjoyed walking and seeing the gym
  • Layla: I enjoyed looking around
  • Leago: I learnt that I mustn’t touch anything otherwise it will break. I want to be a swimmer because I saw the swimming pool.
  • Joshua: I liked the shiny floor. When I grow up, I want to be a waiter.
  • Tshwetso: We did see the soccer field. I want to be a cooker-man when I grow up
  • Johandre: We looked at the kitchen and we see’d how they maked the sweet things and the food
  • Malachi: When I grow up, I want to be a chef
  • Kaone: When I grow up, I want to be a cooking person
  • Teighan: I want to be a soccer player when I grow up
You never want to leave

You never want to leave

When you stay at the Royal Marang Hotel you actually never want to leave. Your bedroom is so divinely comfortable you would like to just stay and stay

It is obvious that the Royal Marang Hotel was designed to be 5 star from the outset – if our grading system catered for 6 or 7 star it would be a serious contender for a higher rating. The attention to detail and the quality of the finishes shines out of every square centimetre of wall and floor space.  From the positioning of the plugs at the desk – catering for 3 pin, 2 pin and international - to the fixtures and fittings in the bathroom, the cleverly planned light switches  and the amazingly comfortable huge expanse of bed made up with 400 thread count percale sheets and duvet cover. Add pillows with the right texture of soft that you sink in to them but also having enough body to lean against comfortably, and you can understand why it is a shame to sleep in such surroundings – all you want to do is be awake to appreciate them

In keeping with the 68 five star bedrooms, the reception areas are stylish and expensively decorated.  I was told they have conference facilities for up to 200 people. And a spa with an indoor pool

The breakfast was superb and the service was faultless. Altogether this establishment certainly deserved to win the Best 5 star Hotel in North West province in the Lilizela Tourism Awards in 2013 and for anyone who visits, it will also be a winner

I stayed over en route back from a day at Sun City. It was a shame to arrive only after dark and have to leave quite early in the morning. You should aim to have lots of waking hours at the Royal Marang so as to be able to really enjoy all the facilities.
